Located in Italy, the Clavière and Cesana ski resorts are both part of the ski area called the Milky Way. Six French and Italian ski resorts make up this ski area that boasts more than 400 km of slopes! That makes it one of the most extensive ski areas in the Alps. The exceptional quality of its natural snow, abundant sunshine, and its comprehensive infrastructure will more than satisfy the most demanding of skiers. The ski area is pure joy for advanced skiers and ideal for families looking to make the most of their winter sports experience.
Clavière, naturally authentic
Located at the foot of the Mont Chaberton, the little village of Clavière has retained the typical and traditional charm of a small mountain hamlet. If an authentic Italian atmosphere is what you’re looking for, look no further. Navigate the pistes through an enchanting setting of larch forests interspersed with wide expanses of sunny slopes that will take your breath away. And leave you with a passion for the mountains that will keep you coming back for more!
Cesana, at the heart of the Italian ski slopes
If you are staying in Cesana, head out of the village to get to the ski slopes. Cesana is ideally located at the heart of the Milky Way, with easy access to some great resorts, such as Sauze d'Oulx, Sestrière and Montgenèvre. Advanced skiers will appreciate the quality of the snow at an altitude of more than 2700m and the more technical descents through the larch forests. There are also plenty of opportunities for beginners to practise their moves on slopes that are best suited to their level. Après-ski is not forgotten with some great restaurants and bars.
